ABOUT THE PRESIDENT

ANALIZA L. CHUA, Ph D. EM., is the second and current President of Buenavista Community College, Buenavista, Bohol. She hails from Hunan, Buenavista, Bohol and is a proud product of Holy Spirit School, Tagbilaran City. She finished her Baccalaureate Degree in Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Marketing from Holy Name University (HNU). She also studied Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED-Qualifying Major in TLE) in Mater Dei College, after which she studied Master of Arts in Business Management in the same school. She earned 18 units in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Buenavista Community College. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy major in Educational Management, which earned her Academic Achievement, and Graduated Meritisimus last 2015 from the University of Bohol.

Ma’am Analie or Analie, as she is fondly called, has held teaching and administrative positions. Her previous assignment prior to her current position was as Dean/Chair of the Hospitality Management Department in Buenavista Community College for 10 years and also served as a faculty member. She also became the Designate Municipal Tourism Officer of Buenavista. She has undergone administrative and management skills training both local and international. She has 5 years of experience in the business industry as an Account Area Supervisor handling and maintaining the company’s key accounts.

She became the Chair of Board of Directors of Buenavista Barangay Treasurer and Local Government Unit multipurpose cooperative. She is a alumna of (JICA) Japan International Cooperating Agency Alumni Association of the Philippines, Council of Hotel and Restaurant Educators of the Philippines, Inc. (COHREP). She is a member of the Technical Working Group (TWG) of GREAT-Gender Responsive Economic Actions for the Transformation of Women Project funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and a member of BOD - Buenavista Womens Federated Association. She is also a Resource Speaker in Tourism and Hospitality for LGU employees and Hospitality Management Students in the locality.
